    How to get a Multi Engine Rating

    The Multi Engine Rating Course is the next level in your airline pilot career. Flying multi engine aircraft is an advancement of your piloting skills. Most airlines require airline pilot applicants to have a minimum of 50 hours of Multi Engine PIC time logged. Our Multi Engine Rating Course is consisting of 15 hours in either the Piper Seminole PA44-180 or Piper Seneca PA34-200.

    The cost for obtaining the Multi Engine Rating may vary depending on your motivation and piloting skills. At our flight school Mult Einge Rating cost are based upon FAA Federal Aviation Administration minimum requirements for the Multi Engine Rating FAA Part 141 Course. The average cost for the Multi Engine Rating Airplane are about $8,992. If additional flight time or ground school time is needed, these hours and services will be charged according to our flight school's current price list.

    To get started with the Florida Flyers Flight Academy Multi Engine Rating Course, complete our enrollment form and pay the admission fee. International Instrument Rating flight students will received their DHS Form I-20 to obtain the M1 student visa after all required documents have been provided.

Multi Engine Rating FAQs

Can I convert my foreign pilot license and work as flight instructor for Florida Flyers?  We would consider your job application, if you have the legal right to work in the USA, such as U.S. Passport, Permanent Resident Card, Work Authorization Card. Florida Flyers is unable to hire foreign applicants without the legal right to work in the U.S. nor does Florida Flyers sponsor foreign pilots.

How much is flight school? Our flight training programs are the most competively priced flight school programs in the USA. Flight school fees for the entire commercial pilot course are as low as $35,000 based upon FAA minimum requirements. Flight training fees vary depending on progress, skills and flight student engagement.

Unfortunately, we provide dual flight instruction only. We do not offer aircraft rental for hour building or any other aircraft rental. Our airplanes are for flight instruction or solo flight time required within an FAA approved Part 141 course only.

Our flight academy has parntered with the Meritize platform to offer competive flight student loan options. AOPA and other platforms also offer flight training financing options. You will need to meet certain criteria such as credit history, social security number and other requirements.

Our flight academy operates a fleet of up to 30 aircraft. For flight training, we mostly operate Cessna airplanes. Many of our airplanes are equipped with modern glass cockpits such as Garmin 1000 avionics.

How to become a CFI Flight Instructor? Our flight school offers fast track CFI flight instructor courses. Become a CFI flight instructor in as little as two weeks. Required are Commercial Pilot Certificate and certain flight training endorsements.

It depends on aircraft and flight instructor availablity. Schedule and unscheduled aircraft maintenance as well as weather conditions may delay some of the scheduled flights.

Other than the enrollment fee along with submitting your enrollment form, we do not require any upfront payments. However, a flight training deposit maybe required upon your arrival, followed by equal monthly installment payments.

Our programs includes flight- and ground training times required by Federal Aviation Administration minimum requirements to complete each course module. We have added all known fees, such as TSA, theoretical and practical exam fees and other expenses to present a realistic course outline.
