Three to four subjects are combined in one module. The distance learning course is consisting of 4 modules. Each module requires about 3 months to complete, based upon 15 hours of weekly self-study time. After completion of each module, a brush-up course of one week is provided by an authorized EASA ground instructor at Florida Flyers Flight Academy in St. Augustine, Florida, USA.
The entire course is web-based and requires an I-Pad. The written exam can be conducted in up to 6 sittings.
